Comparison by Keepr, not an independent test. The Smovin data comes from Smovin's public pricing and feature pages. Smovin: public pricing page (smovin.app/nl/prijzen), checked on 23 October 2026. Smovin lists prices excluding VAT; we convert them to include 21% VAT so they sit next to Keepr's prices. See a price that is out of date? Email us and we will fix the table.

When Smovin is the better fit

  • You want rent payments matched automatically through your bank, with an alert when one is late. Smovin does that from Standard.
  • Your bookkeeping runs through a linked package, or you invoice rent with VAT and PEPPOL.
  • You let two units and want to pay nothing: Smovin's free plan covers 2 units, Keepr's 1 property.

Keepr fits if you do the inspection report yourself, together with your tenant, and want indexation, registration and the EPC for each property on one timeline for a flat fee.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good alternative to Smovin?

It depends on what you need. If you do the inspection report yourself and want a flat monthly fee, Keepr fits. If you want rent matched automatically through your bank or a linked accounting package, Smovin remains a strong choice.

Can you make an inspection report (plaatsbeschrijving) with Smovin?

Smovin's feature overview and pricing page do not mention one (checked on 23 October 2026). In Keepr you record the report room by room on your phone, and your tenant reviews and signs it online.

Is Keepr cheaper than Smovin?

It depends on how many properties you have. Smovin charges €4.84 to €9.68 per unit per month, with a free plan up to 2 units. Keepr is free for 1 property; Solo costs €15 a month for up to 3 properties and Pro €30 for up to 15. For a small portfolio Smovin can be cheaper.
